Re-Doing this Meme as the Main on my DA Page to Fit for my Media Fursona rather than the Personal One from Before. What is the name of your fursona?
Tachuela or Clavo (depends on what gender you encounter but really--either form answers to both)Where did the name of your Fursona come from?
actually comes from a nickname my godfather started that soon spread to most of my family. Relatively, it means 'tack' or 'thumbtack'--played off in my Chicano culture as a term for someone short in height--which I am at 5'3".
Thus, it made all sense in the world to have this fursona named for my nickname that I'm use to. As for Clavo
, well, I desired for the masculine equivalent of myself to have a name that corresponded to the same meaning as the feminine. In Mexican Spanish, the term translates to 'nail'--thus why the other gender variation goes by this and remains connected to the original terminology. What species is your fursona and why did you choose that species?
With this fursona, the species overall is a Mexican Wild Ass/Donkey--though, with hybridized features of course. These include a unicorn-esque tail beyond exaggerated saber fangs that work in duel with the vampiric aspect added in addition beyond my ever-present snake in terms of venom and eye slits. My main reason for going with this is due to wanting to keep the social media version as relatively close to myself as possible in terms of animal of origin. I've also always been partial to donkeys--especially Mexican Show Donkeys with their traditional "Pom-Pom" cut ears that are incorporated into the design of Tachuela/Clavo.
As for the other aspects, well, I included the unicorn tail mainly for the sake of my love for these creatures since I was a child--one that obsessively had numerous amounts of unicorn toys and drawings. As an adult, of course I don't have these but I wanted to incorporate my love for the animal nonetheless still as a reminder of childhood. The saber fangs are keyed into both my love for characters with saber fangs as well as my own health--given I have anemia problems--thus transforming the additional use for them into playing with the vampire lore (another supernatural creature I've loved since childhood). Of course, the fangs also serve the purpose for venom as well as the slit pupils in harboring my Chinese Zodiac of the Earth Snake still. What color is your fursona and why?
In truth, the coloration of this fursona did not come from me. I initially adopted the design
from another user because I both loved the fact that is was a donkey and the color in its Earth Tones and Creams which is a preferred color combination in terms of characters as well as anything associated with myself. It's only with the masculine version, Clavo, that I added the addition of the stripping on the legs to add some variation.
What is your fursona's personality and how does this compare to your RL personality?
Honestly, this really does depend on form with this fursona. Tachuela roughly has the exact same personality as myself--bubbly, optimistic, flirtatious, and childish. When is comes to Clavo, these traits are still there but the masculine form has a bit more trigger initiative as well as openly rough when necessary rather than simply enduring something to the point of aggravation as the feminine form does like me.
What is one item your fursona owns that is significant to you in RL?
If anything, Tachuela/Clavo has the same rings that are of personal significance to myself--two of which belong to my mother and one as a gift from my godfather that are highly precious to them. What is one thing you think you would say to your fursona if you could meet?
"It's so cute, I'm gonna die!" What is one thing your fursona would say to you if they met you?
Well, this would truly depend on which form met me.
Tachuela: *trying to mimic the exact things I'm doing* "It's like...a Hairless
!version of me!"
Clavo: *looking up and down with a smirk* "I'd tap myself." How has your fursona changed over the years?
Pfft! Ooooh yeah, my fursonas have gone through many
revamps and changes over the years that it's ridiculous. However, I have no plans for switching Tachuela/Clavo or Auriga out and plan to keep them as permanent as they are now with only changes coming along as they happen to me too. How long have you had this fursona?
Roughly, I've had Tachuela/Clavo for a few months now but I definitely am keeping them as the mascot of sorts for myself in representation on social sites. This, of course, doesn't mean I'm getting rid of Auriga as my fursona but just that my true!self is more reserved for those I deeply trust and certain places on the web. After all, Auriga means quite a lot to me and I would hate to have a would-be punk running off with her design or just abusing her traits with thievery. Would you like to be more like your fursona?
Well, I'm perfectly happy being like myself and given Tachuela is the same--there really is no need for a want to be more like them. However, I would desire to have some traits in similarity to Clavo but again--there really is no need.Tagging?
I'm not a Tagger-Type--Do It Only if You Want to Share.
