 What is the name of your fursona?

Auriga 

Where did the name of your Fursona come from?

Auriga is associated with the Auriga Nebula that is a part of the Winter Hexagon and usually visible during the month of December (my Birthday Month). The meaning of the name itself is Latin for 'Charioteer' (which fits in congruence with the Sagittarius aspect zodiac in terms of equine) and also known as the "Flaming Star Nebula" which fits with my primary element of Fire.

Beyond this, I enjoy galaxy names and such have named my previous fursonas in accordance to those found in the Sagittarius Constellation--though Auriga is more for fitting with my birthday aspects in astrology.

What species is your fursona and why did you choose that species?

My fursona is essentially a Chimera, if you will--an idea I've been experimenting with in recent and always seem to go back to. Essentially the parts that make up Auriga are:

• Snake (Chinese Zodiac) --Element Earth
• Horse (Zodiac) --Element Fire
• Great Horned Owl (Native American Zodiac)
• Coyote (Spirit Animal)
• Arctic Fox (Born in Winter Aspect)

What color is your fursona and why?

Currently, and probably lasting, I'm trying to keep her coloration as natural-based and close to my skin tone as possible. This is mainly due to inspiration from a few other user's in the real!sona meme that went about which I found enjoyable. The only oddity in coloration would be due to bits of personal favorite colors as well as the dual neon colors I sport in my hair.

What is your fursona's personality and how does this compare to your RL personality?

As I often to, Auriga's personality is suppose to be mine to an exact "T"--optimistic and full of humor with a general love for everybody until war is waged, turning into the silver tongued viper I can be when my boiling point is reached. Thus, the comparison is not so much there but rather a replication of my actual personality.

What is one item your fursona owns that is significant to you in RL?

A onyx jeweled ring that belonged to my mother and a gold with emerald encrusted ring that belonged to my recently departed father.

What is one thing you think you would say to your fursona if you could meet?

"Hello myself--it's so very nice to meet you!"  


What is one thing your fursona would say to you if they met you?

"Thank You for finding us at last--NOW we're finally connected."  


How has your fursona changed over the years?

Ooooh, that's the million dollar question, indeed. Really, my fursona has gone through so many updates and changes--probably mainly due to just never finding something that worked for me or hiding behind something I'm not. I had assumed the previous incarnation would be the last but soon ran aground with the fact that Starry was her own person in some way and not as much of a connection to me as I had thought (though this does not deter my love for her or Citlali). However, with Auriga, I feel safe to say she will be permanent in the construct on only change when I do in terms of body structure and hair style.

How long have you had this fursona?

Auriga is fairly new, having been only created about 2 weeks ago--though, she's got ret-coned aspects of previous fursonas.

Would you like to be more like your fursona?

I think many of us would like to be like our fursona, at least for me in terms of being able to walk around as a Chimera with certain abilities. However, other than that, I'd say we're evenly matched.
